XLPE insulated 3 core Optical Fiber Composite Submarine Cable

APPLICATION OVERVIEW
Composite Submarine cable Used for high power electrical transmission between mainland and the islands, island to island, main land to platform and between the offshore oil drilling platform,as well as control signals transmission of smart grid and communication signal transmission.

XLPE insulated 3 core Optical Fiber Composite Submarine Cable

XLPE insulated 3 core Optical Fiber Composite Submarine Cable Application

This XLPE insulated 3 core Optical Fiber Composite Submarine Cable is mainly intended for a solidly earthed system with power frequency 49~61Hz with rated voltage 127/220KV(Um=252Kv), Used for high power electrical transmission between the mainland and the islands, island to island, mainland to platform and between the offshore oil drilling platform, as well as control signals transmission of smart grid and communication signal transmission.

The construction of composite power /optical fiber submarine cables is similar to the construction of standard submarine power cables, including additionally in their structure one or more optical units. The optical units are stranded during the manufacturing of the cable between the outer interstices created by the insulated conductors of the cable. For relevant short distances, multi-mode fibers may be used. For long distances, single-mode fibers are used.
